TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS To Celebrate 10th Anniversary Of JUDAS PRIEST's 'Live In London'

Powerhouse American vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) will celebrate the 10th anniversary of JUDAS PRIEST's "Live In London" album with a special performance at Gillmanfest - Barquisimetal 2011 on March 26 in Venezuela. In addition to playing PRIEST classics, Ripper will perform solo material and will be joined at the gig by the following musicians:

* Simon Wright (DIO, AC/DC) - Drums
* Craig Goldy (DIO, ROUGH CUT, GIUFFRIA) - Guitar
* James Lomenzo (WHITE LION, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, MEGADETH) - Bass
* John Comprix (BEYOND FEAR, RINGWORM) - Guitar

"Live In London" was recorded at the Brixton Academy on December 19 2001, and was released in September 2002 via SPV.

Owens will be a featured guest on "The Jimmy Star Show" hosted by King of Cool, Jimmy Star, along with his Cool Crowd of co-hosts, to discuss his latest projects, career, music, and the entertainment industries at large.

"Play My Game", the first solo album from Owens, landed at position No. 66 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. The CD was released via SPV/Steamhammer. The offering consists of around a dozen brand-new tracks that Owens composed himself or together with renowned friends, such as Bob Kulick, Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA),Mike Callahan (ex-EARSHOT) and John Comprix (BEYOND FEAR, RINGWORM).
